SpeedEDIT is FAST
How is a movie, video or TV spot communicated? With storyboards.
SpeedEDIT allows editors to work in real-time in either Storyboard or timeline mode.
Storyboard is still the fastest way to sequence shots to match existing boards.

SpeedEDIT is flexible
Rather than emulating the analog film-editing workflow found in most nonlinear editors, Newtek
designed an editor that focuses on storytelling in a digital world. Central to all this is your ability
to drag source clips directly into your project, and then refine it in both Storyboard and Timeline
views. SpeedEDIT’s open architecture allows mixing of multiple formats, aspect ratios and frame
rates in the same project.

Mix SD and HD clips, edit AVI, MPEG-2 and QuickTime on the same timeline with real-time, full
resolution project playback. When completed, output the project in whatever resolution or frame
rate is needed. You can easily output SD and HD versions of the same project.
